In the vicinity of Volkspark and adjacent to the HSV campus, the Athleticum am Volkspark is being built and will be completed by 2023. This four-story sports center, covering approximately 5,200 square meters, will be open to all individuals engaged in sports, from recreational athletes to professional athletes. The center of excellence for sports medicine and physical activity will have comprehensive and state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a training room with a running track, artificial turf, and an anti-gravity treadmill. Additionally, it will feature a cold chamber, aquatic area, and an outdoor space on the rooftop.
